Founded in 1982, Pelham Building Supply has been a partner to area homeowners and contractors for over 35 years and has continuously strived to provide high quality supplies and services to the local community.
Originally known for garage doors and plate glass products, Pelham Building Supply is one of the area’s largest independently owned building supply and services store. Today’s customers to the showroom and lumberyard find more than just hammers and plywood. A large inventory of building materials, doors, windows, cabinetry and millwork products, as well as name brands such as Andersen®, Azek®, Therma-Tru® entry doors, Jeld-Wen entry doors, and Merillat®, Kemper® and Great Northern Cabinetry are all available for immediate delivery or special order. Custom design services for kitchens, baths, windows, doors and construction projects are also a specialty. Of course, hammers and plywood are also available, just in case you need them.
But 35 years of growth has not meant a change in business philosophy. Customer service is still the top priority and affordable prices are a must. Advice and input from customers is taken seriously, and no matter how big the 'business' of building may become, Pelham Building Supply will always be small enough to provide every customer with that hard-to-find personal attention. About the Founder
Ron Bedard believed that service, selection and customer satisfaction were the cornerstones of a good business. With that in mind, he had a vision to create a retail store that would allow homeowners to access the same high quality building supplies that professionals could. In 1982 he founded Pelham Building Supply and began offering the best quality home improvement products at affordable prices.
Ron’s vision continues today, expanding to include a 5-acre lumberyard and 5,000 square foot showroom of all the latest in home design products. For Ron, every team member at Pelham Building Supply is part of an extended family that helps to continue his vision with the idea that service, selection and customer satisfaction are what make a good business a great business.
